Pardon Me

Some say we look ahead to the future just to escape the reality of our present life; that we create an older world where we live more pleasantly just to pretend cruelty does not exist for us.

They’re wrong.

We create a general image of the future we desire to work towards it, not to pretend that we’re no longer part of life just because there have been more downs than ups.

  1. Dear compellingnarrator,

At an earlier point in my life, I was also ‘wrong’ by the definition presented in your post.

But now I create a luminous image of my compelling future and am taking daily action towards it. Reading books and enlightening blogs, such as yours, has helped me put by downs into perspective and capitalize on my ups. Thank for sharing and have a great day!
